Official Document — Facility Hackers Movement
A Declaration for Senior Care Operators

The Facility
Hackers
Manifesto

ClaraCare OS  ·  facilityhackers.com  ·  Founded by Francis San Diego
We are done running our facilities the old way.
We are done drowning in binders, chasing caregivers, and losing sleep before every survey.
We are done paying a fortune for software that wasn't built for us.

We are the operators on the front lines of senior care. We run the facilities that society depends on but rarely thinks about — until something goes wrong. We are RCFE owners managing six-bed homes with the same compliance burden as a hospital. We are Assisted Living directors trying to give residents dignity with razor-thin margins. We are Skilled Nursing administrators navigating Five-Star ratings, state surveys, and staffing crises simultaneously. We are Rehab facility leaders fighting for Medicare reimbursements while delivering life-changing care. We are Home Health Agency owners coordinating caregivers across a city with nothing but a whiteboard and a prayer.

We are all of these things. And we are done being underserved.

The industry handed us legacy software built for hospitals — bloated, expensive, and impossible to implement without an IT team and a six-month onboarding. It handed us paper binders for compliance in an era of artificial intelligence. It handed us staffing agencies that ghost us at 5am when a caregiver calls out. It handed us fax machines for family communication in a world of instant messaging.

Every other industry got disrupted by technology. Senior care got left behind. And the people who paid the price were us — the operators — and more importantly, our residents.

But the game has changed. AI is no longer science fiction. Voice commands, automated compliance, intelligent scheduling, real-time vitals monitoring, instant family updates — these are not coming. They are here. Now. Today.

A small RCFE in Fullerton, California can now have the same AI infrastructure as a hospital system — for less than the cost of one extra shift. An ALF director can walk into a state survey with an AI-generated audit trail that took minutes to produce. An SNF administrator can have an AI Chief of Staff briefing them every morning. A Rehab facility can automate Medicare documentation that used to take hours. A Home Health Agency can fill a caregiver gap at 3am without making a single phone call.

This is the world Facility Hackers live in.

The Facility Hacker Creed
We believe that every care facility deserves modern technology — regardless of size, budget, or how many residents we serve.
🤖 We believe that AI is not the future of senior care — it is the present. And those who ignore it will be left behind.
📋 We believe that compliance should take hours, not weeks. That DSS surveys, state inspections, and Five-Star ratings should be things we are always ready for — not things we dread.
👥 We believe that our staff deserves better systems. That scheduling, certification tracking, and shift coverage should run on automation — not anxiety.
❤️ We believe that when operators are less buried, residents get better care. Our mission is not just technology — it is quality of life for every person in our facilities.
💡 We believe that you don't need a venture capitalist, an IT department, or a six-month implementation to run a world-class facility. You need the right system and the will to change.
🔧 We believe in doing it the Facility Hacker way — smart, lean, AI-powered, and always one step ahead of the old guard.
"We don't just
run facilities.
We engineer them."
— The Facility Hackers Creed

This manifesto is for the RCFE owner who manages six residents, three caregivers, and a mountain of Title 22 paperwork — all by herself. It is for the Assisted Living director who knows every resident by name, every family by their worry, and every regulation by its number. It is for the Skilled Nursing administrator who has fought for every star in that Five-Star rating and refuses to let a broken system pull it down. It is for the Rehab facility leader who measures success in the number of patients who walk out the door stronger than they walked in. It is for the Home Health Agency owner who built something from nothing and now needs the tools to scale it with dignity.

If you have ever felt that the industry sold you a raw deal — this is your community.

Facility Hackers is not just a software company. It is a movement of operators across every corner of senior and post-acute care who have decided that the old way is over. We share knowledge. We share resources. We lift each other. And we build facilities that work — for our staff, for our residents, for our families, and for ourselves.

ClaraCare OS is the technology that powers the movement. VERA — our AI Chief of Staff — is the teammate every operator deserves but could never afford to hire. She handles briefings, compliance drafts, care plans, incident reports, staff coordination, family updates, and a hundred other things that used to steal hours from your day. She never calls out sick. She never misses a regulation update. She is always on.

But you are still the leader. Always. VERA works for you — not the other way around. That is the Facility Hacker promise.

My name is Francis San Diego. I am not a healthcare executive. I am not a venture capitalist. I am a digital marketer from Fullerton, California, and my wife Christina runs a caregiving agency called Infinity and Beyond Homecare.

I built ClaraCare OS because I watched Christina work herself to exhaustion trying to run her agency with tools that were never designed for her world. I watched RCFE owners in our network drown in compliance paperwork. I watched SNF administrators scramble before every state survey. I watched Rehab directors fight for reimbursements that modern software could have documented automatically. I watched ALF operators lose good staff because scheduling was chaos.

I built the system I wished someone had handed us.

No investors. No fluff. No six-month implementations. Just an AI-powered platform that works on day one — for every facility type, every size, every budget.

Welcome to Facility Hackers. You're exactly where you're supposed to be.
